What guides our company's decisions EVERY day

THE THREE PILLARS OF ECOGRIFFE:

SOCIAL INVOLVEMENT

WELL-BEING WITHIN THE COMPANY

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

1. SOCIAL INVOLVEMENT

Cause of the Month

Contributing to the well-being of the community is part of our corporate mission, which is why we have introduced the Cause of the Month program.

Each month, we select a cause that particularly touches us and for which we wish to raise funds. For each order placed online at ecogriffe.com, $1 is donated directly to the cause of the month .

Sponsorships

We are proud to be able to participate in the promotion of social, community, entrepreneurial and sporting causes across Quebec.

Here are some of our sponsorships over the past few years...

All together for the community

Wanting to support causes that are close to our hearts, we have partnered with these organizations below to produce a personalized hat for which a portion of the profits will be donated directly to them.

Roland-Bertrand Center

The Roland-Bertrand Center, located in the heart of Shawinigan, helps improve the situation experienced by disadvantaged people while promoting their development and autonomy.

Year after year and since its founding in 1978, the Center has helped people in need through various services such as food aid, the shelter, supervised housing and through projects such as the thrift store, the workshop and the gardens.

Heart Foundation

To provide maximum services to children with heart disease and their families. The Foundation also aims to extend its support to young people during the transition from pediatric to adult care.

The Foundation wishes to offer complementary services to those provided by the health system by meeting certain needs, including:

Support during hospitalizations (travel, parking, transportation, meal vouchers, medical equipment)

Information and equipment for home care

Psychological support

ETHICAL GOVERNANCE

Close relationship with the nearby production plant, ensuring exemplary working conditions:

• Pleasant, bright and clean working environment

• SMETA certification of the production plant (Ethical Trade Audit)

3. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

CARBON-NEUTRAL MAILINGS WITH CANADA POST

Carbon-neutral delivery involves offsetting emissions generated by delivery by purchasing carbon offsets. For every tonne of greenhouse gas emissions generated, Canada Post removes one tonne of greenhouse gas emissions from the atmosphere through carbon offsets.

OUR PRODUCTION IS MADE IN QUEBEC

We control and consolidate our production for delivery.

NEW ECOLOGICAL MATERIALS

We have created a new collection made from recycled cashmere for a greener approach.

USE OF RECYCLED FUR

• ZERO POLLUTION •
Recycled fur is the reuse of old fur coats that are still in good condition to create new products. We therefore work from an existing material; there is no need to create new materials, the production of which is polluting.

• BIODEGRADABLE •
Unlike faux fur or any other synthetic material that will end up in the garbage, waiting for a long decomposition, fur is a natural material that will simply degrade at the end of its life, leaving no trace.
