We love this breakfast smoothie that we also enjoy as an afternoon snack. We even transformed this recipe into a summer aperitif (you know, around 4 p.m.) by adding 1 ounce (or 2 if needed! haha!) of Flor de Caña Rum from Nicaragua. Also to be enjoyed in the middle of winter to make yourself believe that you are on vacation!
DREAM SMOOTIE
Makes 4 to 6 servings
INGREDIENTS
2 cups (450 g) yogurt
2 bananas
1 cup (125 g) raspberries, fresh or frozen
1 cup (125 g) strawberries, fresh or frozen
1 orange, juiced
1/2 cup (15 g) spinach leaves
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
1 tbsp (15 ml) icing honey, optional
PREPARATION
Add all ingredients to blender.
Add ice if desired.
Blend until smooth and ice is crushed.
Serve immediately.
